Theron, who received the prestigious Giving Tree Award for her contributions to philanthropy, chose a sculptural halter-neck gown, created by Schiaparelli’s creative director Daniel Roseberry. The dress, an elegant blend of ecru crepe jersey with a daring neckline, featured a contrasting raw denim bustier, seamlessly blending classic sophistication with modern edginess. Her ensemble was completed with eye-catching keyhole earrings, embodying Schiaparelli’s signature daring style.
Schiaparelli, established in 1927 by Italian-born designer Elsa Schiaparelli, is celebrated for its surrealist inspiration and avant-garde designs. Elsa, who collaborated with some of the 20th century’s most influential artists, including Salvador Dalí, helped shape a legacy that defined luxury and creativity, weaving fantasy with wearable art. Her pioneering work redefined fashion, infusing it with wit, whimsy, and an element of shock — a reputation the maison retains to this day.
Daniel Roseberry, Schiaparelli’s current creative force, has honoured this extraordinary legacy since his appointment in 2019. Roseberry has brought his own vision, skillfully balancing the maison’s historical codes with contemporary aesthetics. His collections, marked by bold structures, experimental textures, and daring cuts, have breathed new life into Schiaparelli, capturing the attention of fashion savvy fans around the world.
