Christin Dior will be launching its latest book this May, highlighting its strong collaboration with Italian photographer Brigitte Niedermair and the House of Dior.

Having become one of the most preferred photographers and friend of the brand over the last decade, Brigitte Niedermair extracts and exalts the essence of the House’s silhouettes in this new publication, emphasising the timeless modernity of Dior’s icons through her innovative photography.

This volume features iconic images from the House, its heritage and expertise. Archives of Christian Dior from 1947 to 1957 are also presented from a new angle, celebrating these exceptional pieces. Seams, linings, and lapels are brought to light in front of the photographer’s lens, yielding the secrets of their construction – a tribute to architecture, a passion dear to Christian Dior.

“Brigitte Niedermair is very much an artist-photographer and not merely a fashion photographer – the latter being too narrow a category and one that she rejects as a definition of herself.” writes Olivier Gabet, Director of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.

Brigitte’s elegantly defiant portraits and still life images are instantly recognizable and are enriched with inspiring texts and quotes from Maria Grazia Chiuri and Olivier Gabet throughout the book.

The book will be released by Rizzoli New York, from the beginning of April in Europe, and in early May internationally.
