Traditionally, velvet is worn for autumn and winter but it seems like it’s also popular during the hottest months of the year. The Victoria’s Secret model, Stella Maxwell recently wore a navy-blue velvet minidress with long sleeves in New York on a day the temperature hit a soaring 92 degrees. It just goes to show this fabric is great all year around and with fall fast approaching it’s worth investing in some cute pieces.
