Elie Saab has just announced the launch of its bridal line, Elie Saab Bridal, to compliment the existing haute couture and ready-to-wear collections of the House. Elie Saab’s contemporary and modern interpretation of bridal wear follows the style evolution of its ready-to-wear collections over the last few seasons. Faithful to its core design codes, the House presents the essentials of a feminine and daring silhouette in this bridal collection.
There are 25 gowns adorned with guipure, dotted tulle and silk chiffon while a carefree play of lace offers sheer and subtle exposure of shoulders, legs and waistlines. Signature embroideries and draperies echo their history of craftsmanship. The iconic jumpsuit is reinterpreted with floral motif embroidery, and in graphic cuts with a layered, split skirt.
Speaking to L’air du temps and the desires of contemporary brides today, the stunning collection features shorter dresses and ballet slippers. The accessories collection has matching veils, Swarovski crystal headbands, shoes and clutches to compliment the new line.
A selection of styles are available now in Paris, Beirut, Dubai, Hong Kong and at Harrods in London. And from October 2016, the entire collection will be presented in Elie Saab boutiques and department stores.
