For fall 2018, Mira Mikati decided to trade last year’s skater tom-girl for a girl-power with a pimped out ride. The pop-fantastic collection is made for the modern woman who considers a fast paced life.
Mikati defines her women as “not sexy racer girls, they’re heavy-duty mechanics, parachute-jumping adrenaline junkies who are pretty, elegant girls in the evening.”
Picking up where she left off last season, silhouettes were oversized and heavily influenced with athleisure-wear. Colour-blocked overall- suits were matched with faux shearling jackets draped with embroideries, and some were scattered like confetti with messages of “unstoppable,” “burn fat, not fuel,” “no boys allowed”.
