Hermès has confirmed that it will present its first-ever haute couture runway show during Paris Haute Couture Week this January, marking a significant new chapter for the French luxury house.

The made-to-measure collection will be designed by Nadège Vanhée, artistic director of women’s ready-to-wear, who has shaped Hermès’ refined and understated aesthetic since 2014. The highly anticipated debut follows the brand’s announcement last year that it would enter the world of haute couture, further strengthening its position at the pinnacle of luxury fashion.
To support the new venture, Hermès has established a dedicated couture atelier that will eventually employ around 20 specialist artisans, reflecting the house’s unwavering commitment to exceptional craftsmanship and savoir-faire.
Known globally for its leather goods, silk scarves and meticulous attention to detail, Hermès has long been associated with artisanal excellence. The move into haute couture offers the maison a natural extension of its heritage while creating an even more exclusive offering for its discerning clientele.
Fashion insiders will be watching closely as Vanhée brings her signature blend of precision, elegance and quiet luxury to one of fashion’s most prestigious disciplines, opening an exciting new chapter in the Hermès story.
