Chloé Resort 2018 collection is a smooth transition between the creative direction from Clare Waight Keller to Natacha Ramsay-Levi.

It still feels aesthetically Chloé with edgy touches that Ramsay-Levi delivered for her first SS18 collection in Paris during Fashion Week. Flowing dresses, feminine fabrics and soft shades are all familiar to the fans of the brand. The same can be said of the accessories with the Nile bracelet bag getting a slight face lift that includes an option to add initials to the smaller size.

There is a certain emphasis on tailoring that have a slight naval look with gold buttons decorating cropped jackets. The festival vibe, inspired by music legends Cher and Prince, is recognized in metallic flared trousers, soft high neck blouse with lace inserts, bold gold accents on clothes and accessories and heavily fringed over the knee boots.

This is still the Chloé girl we have grown to love under the eyes of Waight Keller but she is boldly stepping into the tougher spectrum of Ramsay-Levi. Now, when can we get our hands on the turtleneck with the Chloé logo stretched across the shoulders?
