For SS18, Dubai-based label Bambah is taking inspiration from the rich colours and embroidery of India.
The latest collection retains the glamour that the brand is known for with an added injection of block colours, mix and match of fabrics as well as balloon sleeves and feminine shapes. Admired for voluminous dresses and elegant separates, Bambah is introducing trousers for the first time in a form of cargo pants that should be a staple piece in any woman’s wardrobe.
Founded by Maha Abdul Rasheed over seven years ago, the label brings timeless, elegant, vintage fashion and accessories to Dubai and beyond. Inspired by the fifties, Maha creates bold signature shapes which have won her many fans in the region and abroad such as Priyanka Chopra and Amal Clooney. Many head to her boutique to find generous ruffles, bare shoulders, oversized bows and refined use of colorful floral prints.
The new collection captures the Bambah woman as she journeys through the culturally vibrant India with her stylish friends by her side. Our top pick? The blue tiered gown that would make a perfect outfit for the upcoming festive period.
Bambah is stocked online at www.bambah.com and www.modaoperandi.com and in Harvey Nichols Kuwait and Riyadh, Chamelle Plaza in Jeddah, Per Lei Couture in Doha, and Flagship Store in City Walk II, Dubai.
