Supermodel Kate Moss fronts the new Fendi campaign for the house’s Peekaboo bag. Starring alongside the icon is her daughter, up-and-coming model Lila Grace Moss.
Discussing the choice to use the duo in the new campaign, the house said in the notes that accompanied the announcement that “the emotional connection and strong family tie embodied by the Peekaboo bag is perfectly personified by Kate and Lila Grace Moss, whose powerful mother-daughter bond… Close friends of Kim Jones and the maison, the campaign is a further demonstration of their heart-warming relationship, following their first mother-daughter runway appearance for the Artistic Director’s debut Couture collection for Fendi, that featured families both real and chosen in an intergenerational reunion of iconic women reflecting the matriarchal strength that has long defined the Fendi name”.
The campaign was shot by photographer Craig McDean, while long-term creative designer and member of the Fendi family,Silvia Venturini Fendi commented “The Peekaboo wearer is a multifaceted person…They have hidden talents, they choose what they reveal about themselves, and when.”
