Farfetch Unveils a New Campaign Starring Leighton Meester, Bakar, Paloma Elsesser and Omar Apollo. The new series of images features the A-list line up with the message of personal choice.

The #YourChoiceYourFARFETCH AW22 Brand Campaign encourages everyone to embrace their own style and choices through fashion.

With a star-studded line-up the campaign celebrates diversity and inclusivity. Gossip Girl Leighton Meester is featured wearing looks from this season’s collections as she embraces her feminine side. We reveal what she has to say about her own personal style.

Do you have a style signature? How did you find it and what does it say about you?

Comfortable and specific staple pieces are what I generally gravitate towards, like great slacks or jeans, versatile tops and outerwear. When I dress up, I love dresses, patterns and florals. And colour! My style is no fuss by day and sexy/feminine by night.

Who would you consider to be your ultimate style icon? How would you describe their style and why does it appeal to you? Are there any parallels between their wardrobe and your own? Do any of your favourite designers/brands convey the essence of their style?

I’m still influenced by movies I grew up watching: The Sound of Music, Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead and (I hate to say it) Mommy Dearest. All different eras but appealing to me aesthetically and have seeped into my unconscious.

What does self-care mean to you?

Self-care for me is rest, therapy, self-forgiveness, spending quality time with myself and my loved ones, eating enough calories and staying off social media.

What did you like about the pieces you wore for the FARFETCH shoot? What made you choose them and were there any interesting details you noticed about them?

There were sequined pants matching the dress, which was surprisingly very comfortable and made a huge impact with just two pieces and very little accessorizing. The coat was beyond warm and a classic bohemian mix.
