The Milan Menswear Fashion Week is in full swing with the biggest brands in luxury fashion presenting their Spring/Summer 2023 collections. We discover the latest presentations displayed on the runway.

Giorgio Armani

Giorgio Armani is a busy man, with an extensive range of clothing lines, he has presented the Emporio collection this week, and this next runway is all about the Giorgio collection. New colour tones emerge in purples, a colour that is not often seen at Armani as Giorgio researches and plays with fabrics, colours and patterns in this collection. Taking centre stage are the suits, however, they are loosely fitted to the models displaying an effortless, casual style within the formality of the designs. Across the range, delicate silks are presented creating the shimmery, metallic effects and a luxurious material that lays over the skin.

Zegna

The Zegna brand values have been reflected in this latest collection, always looking ahead while keeping track of its roots. The collection is about freedom of movement and expression, promoting harmony between the past and present, belief and innovation. Artistic Director Alessandro Sartori, generates new shapes and textures, playing with workwear attires to combine them with activewear, to generate new silhouettes where effortless and innovation creates new styles for men. A feeling of lightness also runs through this collection, the shapes are loose and hang from the body with comfort and movement, and each can be layered and combined to create expressive looks. The iconic Zegna orange is been presented on garments, with splashes of bright yellows and deep greys for contrast and depth.
