What’s your morning routine before work?

I wake up and have a brief scroll through Instagram; I have a bowl of berries with yogurt and chia seeds and a large cup of coffee, then I check emails.

How do you decide what to wear in the morning?

Often, I go for something simple and comfortable. If I am in the studio it’s important to be practical while I’m working. If I have a meeting I may throw on a pair of earrings and statement jacket. Usually I carry a little backpack with my make-up bag inside.

Three items you can’t live without?

Stan Smiths from Adidas, any Bedouin off-the-shoulder top and a statement jacket.

Favourite place you like to go to in Dubai?

I love the beach. The sky never ceases to amaze me in Dubai so I love to watch the sunset either from a public beach or from Jetty Lounge at the Royal Mirage.

What did you do last night?

I went for a walk around the Marina.

Complete the sentence: My perfect holiday would be…

Anything that involves a balance of culture, sunshine, beach and vibrancy! I love going to Bali, and would love to try somewhere new like Zanzibar.

What book are you reading at the moment?

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.

Tell us a fact about you that nobody knows.

As a child I did ballet, tap and modern dance classes six nights a week; I competed in many competitions. I stopped at 16 years old because I knew I wasn’t going to be a professional dancer.

Your favourite designer at the moment?

The recent SS17 collection by Roland Mouret.

10.Your current style inspiration?

1980s and 1990s grunge and a little bit of punk.

Who would you like to be stuck on a desert island with?

My best friends!

Three things you hate?

Anchovies, horror films and traffic.

What’s your personal motto?

“You don’t regret the things you do but only the things you don’t.”  I love this motto because it’s so important to take risks. Even if things don’t end up the way you expect, you will always learn from your experiences and that can only be taken as something positive.

How do you want the world to remember you?

Smiling!
