Giorgio Armani took to the Tokyo National Museum Hyokeikan in Japan to present its Cruise 2020 collection, and the collection saw denim reinvented, timeless blues evoked and warm hues inspired by island life.
On May 24th, Giorgio Armani unveiled his Cruise 2020 collection in the capital of Japan – the Italian designer’s first runway show for a pre-collection.
Taking to the oldest museum in the country, Armani presented both male and female lines for his #GACruise collection that blended together with a colour palette of midnight blues, neutral creams and inviting reds.
The glamour came in the form of velvet waistcoats, palm tree print two pieces and dazzling embroidered dresses, while more casual styles saw male and female models don masculine suit shapes with braces included, soft indigo denim and neutral earthy tones that serves as the ‘base’ of the collection.
Assecories we’re equally bold, featuring striking red fez hats and oversized jewellery. To see behind the scenes images of the line, see the gallery above.
