Lebanese Designers Presenting at Paris Fashion Week

A list of Beirut-based couturiers like Elie Saab and Zuhair Murad presented hand-crafted exquisite creations in their latest RTW Spring Summer 2018 collections as part of Paris Fashion Week. Pushing the boundaries of fashion to the very limit alongside many other international French maisons such as Lanvin, Givenchy, and Valentino. Here, we bring to you our top Lebanese designers who debuted their SS18 collections in Paris this week.

For SS18, Elie Saab put on a one-of-a-kind show full of fresh vibrant colours of warm yellow, deep blue and green taking over the runway. The tropical inspired collection, presented line articulated through new fluid fabrics, vivid vegetal prints and innovative bold accessories.

 

At Basil Soda‘s RTW presentation yesterday, we saw plenty from polka dot lace, to embroidered fitted to the body mid-length dresses, and fine lines and structured silhouettes with statement gold belts.

Zuhair Murad hosts a ready-to-wear presentation in Paris, debuting soft and airy floor-length dresses, with uber feminine silhouettes and a combination monochromatic hued shield-like knit  mini-dresses adorned with gold studs and fringes; also heavy coats and tailored suits embellished with a floral sequins design.

 

Exquisitely crafted and accessorized with perfection, Georges Hobeika introduced a dreamy and colourful Spring Summer 18 collection; with intricate floral details and thigh-high slit dresses in soft pastel hues tulle and guipure lace fabrics.
