Naomi Campbell has been named as one of the 62 experts to judge this years LVMH prize.
After recently making her return to the Valentino runway during the SS19 season of Haute Couture, and making a number of front row appearances at men’s fashion shows in Paris, Campbell is adding another string to her bow.
The supermodel joins a list of experts across magazines, design and digital that include other newcomers such as online entrepreneur Chiara Ferragni and Rami Atallah, the cofounder and chief executive officer of Ssense, alongside existing judges like Karlie Kloss, Suzy Menkes and Nicolas Ghesquière.
Established in 2013 to promote young designers and celebrate the future of fashion, the applicants have to be aged between 18 -40 with at least two collections to their name to be in with a chance to win €300,000 and a 12-month mentorship provided by LVMH.
Applications will close on February 4, with semi-finalists revealed on March 1 and 2, during Paris Fashion Week, with the winner awarded in June.
