The Michelin Guide Abu Dhabi 2024 has revealed three new entries in its guide, including a new Michelin Star restaurant.
The second edition of the guide was announced this week in the UAE capital.
Emirati restaurant Erth was awarded one Michelin Star and joins three other restaurants in Abu Dhabi which have retained their star from last year’s inaugural Guide.
Two further restaurants – Oii and Al Mrzab – were also recognised with the Guide’s commendable Bib Gourmand achievement, bringing the total in the capital to six in this category.
Abu Dhabi’s exponential growth is accompanied by increasing numbers of new openings in the city, with an impressively diverse culinary scene and 21 different types of cuisine.
“Our inspectors continue to be impressed by the dynamism of Abu Dhabi and the sheer variety of cuisines on offer. Our newest recipient of a Michelin Star, Erth restaurant, sums up the city so well, as it offers a truly unique experience inspired by the beauty and traditions of the region,” explains Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of The Michelin Guides.
