This exclusive suite is located in the Punta Tragara Hotel which is situated in the most evocative corner of the island, a silhouette of the Amalfi Coast where nature reigns supreme.
Designed by Le Corbusier, the Swiss architect who envisaged it as a magical place where “body, heart and mind are restored” is suspended between the sea and sky. The Pegaso Etro Suite is a space that emphasises the elegance of these exclusive surroundings with the unmistakable style of Etro Home Interiors furnishings.
A volcanic grey floor and Caprese white walls are combined with a symbolic Tree of Life design that wraps guests in its magical embrace as they enter. Emerging from its branches are Paisley symbols, the Italian design house’s famed motif, which can also be seen on the iconic fabrics within the suite.
The furnishings are designed for royalty; from the dominating, decorative Bombay bed and the soft hand-tufted bamboo silk Varanasi rug, to the customised Kolkata line drawer units upholstered in a neutral-toned fabric. Each detail is perfectly aligned with the designer’s vision and the elegance of the Etro style.
After stepping out onto the sweeping terrace, guests are immersed in the white and blue hues of Capri. These breath-taking views boast iconic white hillside houses, boats that sail along the coastline and a golden evening sun that sets behind the rocks.
