Oscar-winning actress Emma Stone stepped out on the red carpet for her latest film at the Cannes Film Festival this weekend.
Yorgos Lanthimos’s “Kinds of Kindness” premiered at the festival on Friday night.
The duo have a strong working relationship, with Stone winning her 2024 Academy Award for her lead role in the director’s last film “Poor Things.”
Stone wore a custom Louis Vuitton gown for Friday’s premiere. The burgundy sleeveless dress featured shimmering elements cascading over the fabric, while the back of the gown featured sheer bands of fabric connecting the straps to the skirt.
Fans of “Poor Things” can expect a continuation of Lanthimos’s unique and sometimes unsettling style in his new film, which is due for release this summer. The plot centres around three distinct but loosely connected narratives set in and around modern-day New Orleans.
Alongside Stone, Hunter Schafer and Margaret Qualley also star in Lanthimos’s latest movie.
