It’s time to swap the hot open terraces of Dubai, for the cool temperature-controlled lounges. If you’re someone who loves a view though, don’t panic, we’ve got you covered with the best scenic views of the skyline, that you can enjoy all summer long.

Al Muntaha, Burj Al Arab

Let’s begin with one of the most iconic hotels in the world, the Burj Al Arab. Located at the very top, on the 27th floor, is Al Muntaha, a romantic fine dining restaurant. Muntaha has one of the most beautiful views in Dubai, with panoramic views across the Arabian Gulf, serving up the finest French and Italian cuisine by acclaimed Chef Saverio Sbaragli. Each dish is exquisitely presented with bursts of flavour, and guests can enjoy the cuisine and the views during the day for lunch or from sunset into the night.

Fi’lia, SLS Hotel

Fi’lia, which means daughter in Italiam, takes a front-row seat as the region’s first female-led restaurant. Located in the new SLS Hotel, Downtown, this picturesque restaurant has made an impact as one of the most Instagrammable spots this year for its spectacular panoramic skyline view terrace. Although the heat has turned up outside, you can still enjoy impressive sights from the cool indoor dining lounge, whilst tasting delicious Italian cuisine through lunch and dinner.

At.mosphere, Burj Khalifa

This wouldn’t be the ultimate scenic round-up, without mentioning the tallest restaurant in the world. Located 442 metres high, on the 122nd floor of the Burj Khalifa, At.mosphere provides a view like no other. An exquisite selection of gastronomical food compliments this breath-taking view as the culinary team boasts a critically acclaimed menu with ingredients sourced from around the world. Guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant and high tea in the lounge.

Sushi Samba, Palm Tower

Equal parts imagination and history, the Sushi Samba experience is truly unique. With a blend of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian culture and cuisine, this exotic restaurant is filled with energy inspired by these three locations. It sits in the Palm Tower, above the Nakheel Mall, and offers unobstructed views of the Palm Jumeirah coastline. The menu has a selection of tasty small plates that encourage a ‘shared’ dining experience to guests.

Eve Penthouse

Eve Penthouse & Lounge is an elegant rooftop bar that offers a diverse blend of fancy cocktails and cosmopolitan bites, complemented by a beautiful view of the city. The restaurant is located in the Hyatt Regency, Dubai Creek, with different seating options depending on the mood you’re feeling, opt for the secret playroom listening to the swanky beats or the plush sofa lounge for a Burj Khalifa view.

Armani Lounge, Armani Hotel Dubai

This second restaurant located in the Burj Khalifa is a little lower down but still offers some stunning views of the city, particularly the majestic Dubai fountains. It’s the perfect place to meet friends, discuss business or just watch the world go by while enjoying innovative interpretations of international cuisine. Why not indulge in a signature Armani golden cappuccino whilst taking in the energy of the dancing fountain water below.

Tasca

Located on the sixth floor of Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Tasca is an exciting restaurant from culinary genius José Avillez. Serving up genuine Portuguese flavours with a contemporary twist, the restaurant provides views out into the blue Arabian sea on one side and a sparkling city view of the Burj Khalifa on the other. Guests can enjoy favourites such as fresh Pastel de Nata and fruity Portuguese sangrias.

Alici

As the fragrance of lemon and olive trees fill the air, stunning sea views are complemented by a delicious selection of fresh seafood. Alici promises to bring you an authentic experience that will give you Amalfi coast vibes. This restaurant is located on Blue Waters Island giving the perfect views of JBR and Marina buildings, through their large floor to ceiling windows.

S Bar, SLS Hotel

S Bar is the second venue on our list located in the SLS hotel. This sky lobby is an eclectically chic bar that offers an impressive cocktail programme and light bites. Grand chandeliers hang from the ceiling with plenty of natural light bursting through the panoramic windows. Taking a seat at the grand marble bar is the perfect location to watch the sunset and see the city light up as it changes from day to night.
