J Club at Jumeirah Mina A’Salam has just revealed the region’s first “Snow Room”, in the hotel’s luxury spa.
Of course, as a five-star hotel, the Snow Room comes with all the luxury additions one would expect. The exquisite snow sauna, promises to be an “innovative wellness offering that provides guests with an invigorating escape from the heat and a refreshing journey into sub-zero temperatures,” according to the group.
“As guests step into this winter wonderland, they are greeted by a serene and enchanting environment, complete with real snow and a perfectly controlled climate. The temperature is carefully maintained to create an optimal experience, ensuring guests can fully embrace the benefits of thermal contrast,” a spokesperson for the group explained.
Ice-cold therapies are currently having a moment on the international wellness scene, with cold water emersion – popularised by Wim Hof – one of the most-rated amongst the treatments.
