It’s Hilton but not as you know it

London’s newest hotel, Hilton London Bankside, is perfect for those in town on business, set on the easily accessible South Bank.

While it’s a Hilton hotel through and through with Hilton Honors points and an Executive Lounge, the design is something a little different. Brutalist architecture that celebrates urban living sits alongside a cool casual bar, The Distillery and a neighbourhood style restaurant called OXBO Bankside, which will serve up locally focused British food.

It might be convenient but the art is also worth coming for. The hotel has taken notes from Tate Modern just a few minutes away and echoes its Turbine Hall in the lobby flooring. Old fashioned street sign murals have been commissioned for the public areas, along with recycled tube station tiles and furnishings inspired by British artist William Morris. It’s a modern reflection of gritty, urban London.

The hotel has 292 rooms and 25 suites which overlook the iconic Thames skyline, an indoor pool and gym and a treatment room.
