Giorgio Armani recently unveiled the new Giorgio Armani 11 watch with a star-studded celebration in Milan. The new series of watches for men and women are named in tribute to the street number of the brand’s historic headquarters; 11 Via Borgonuovo.
Guests in attendance at the exclusive launch event at the brand’s headquarters in Milan included Lebanese-Armenian musician, composer and pianist Guy Manoukian, as well as Emily In Paris star Lucas Bravo, model and actress Eva Herzigova and many more. The evening was hosted by Roberta Armani.
The elegant timepiece has been brought to life by Swiss watchmaker Parmigiani Fleurier and is limited in its numbers, making it an exclusive collector’s piece. The design combines the elegance of Giorgio Armani with the craftsmanship of Parmigiani Fleurier to create a design that is based on an idea of personal luxury, with a strong focus on craftsmanship and to convey a sense of timeless elegance.
It features a moonphase automatic movement and a square-shaped dial that’s rounded at the corners. In a nod to the designer’s tailoring the Giorgio Armani 11 features stitching motifs and the brand’s logo at 12 o’clock, mirroring the label that is located inside Giorgio Armani’s garments. The hands are tapered and elegant inspired by the shape of a needed or a pair of tailoring scissors. The hours are marked by indexes with the exception of 11 which is written in Arabic numerals. The watch comes in three different materials each available with five variants: teel with grey or blue dial, rose gold with ivory or grey dial and yellow gold with black dial – all combined with leather straps and presented in special packaging.
The watches are available in selected Giorgio Armani boutiques around the world.
