For more than four decades, Vhernier has built its reputation on a distinctive approach to jewellery design, one that favours sculptural forms, architectural purity and understated elegance over ornamentation. Now, the Maison has unveiled Freccia High Jewellery, a refined new collection that reimagines one of its most recognisable creations through exceptional craftsmanship and precious materials.

Originally introduced in 2014, the Freccia collection has become one of Vhernier’s defining signatures. Its geometric arrow motif returns here in an elevated high jewellery interpretation, transformed into a series of bold yet fluid creations that demonstrate the house’s philosophy of creating beauty through simplicity.

At the heart of the collection lies a single triangular element. While geometric in origin, the shape has been softened into a sculptural form with rounded edges and generous curves, creating pieces that appear both powerful and effortless. Repeated throughout each design, the motif becomes the foundation for a collection that is simultaneously minimalist and highly expressive.

The collection comprises five variations across necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings, each showcasing VHERNIER’s exceptional Italian craftsmanship. Mirror-polished gold creates uninterrupted reflections of light across perfectly smooth surfaces, while the maison’s signature two-prong pavé setting introduces a dazzling layer of diamonds that enhances the collection’s sculptural qualities without overwhelming its clean lines.

Colour also plays a defining role. Vhernier employs its renowned Trasparenze technique, an intricate artisanal process that layers gemstones beneath rock crystal to create remarkable depth and luminosity. The resulting effect gives the jewels an almost ethereal quality, allowing colour to appear rich yet translucent.

The collection incorporates carefully selected materials including black jade, green jade, lapis lazuli and mother-of-pearl. These gemstones introduce subtle variations in tone while complementing the warm glow of gold, adding another dimension to the collection’s sculptural aesthetic.

Among the standout innovations is a versatile pair of detachable earrings. Designed with an ingenious screw-in mechanism, the coloured gemstone elements and diamond pavé sections can be separated, allowing each piece to be worn either as a refined stud or a dramatic pendant earring. It is a thoughtful detail that combines technical ingenuity with contemporary versatility.

Despite their generous proportions, each creation has been engineered to move naturally with the body. This balance between bold scale and effortless wearability has long distinguished Vhernier’s designs, reflecting the house’s commitment to jewellery that is as comfortable as it is visually striking.
