See Vacheron Constantin’s Striking Watch Collection That Embodies Ramadan Spirit

See Vacheron Constantin’s watch collections that mark the Holy Month of Ramadan perfectly.

To mark the special occasion, Swiss luxury watchmakers Vacheron Constantin has created a story about the spirit of Ramadan using three existing designs.

The deep-blue hues that are reminiscent of the dusk sky aim to remind wearers of the value of Ramadan, while elements of the cresent moon play into the models, too. Here’s what you need to know about the three designs:

The first design hones in on the notion of self-reflection throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan. The indigo hues mirror the shades of the Arabian sunset, the moment to reflect on a day of fasting and connect with your spiritual self. It also calls to the cresent of the moon – which obviously plays a huge role within the month, as the first glimpse of the cresent moon marks the beginning of the occasion – with the Fiftysix blue dial moon phase.

After a day of fasting and thinking about your place in the world comes an evening of breaking fast with friends, families and the community around you. And this coming-together is where Vacheron, which was founded in 1755, drew its next inspiration. For this, the Swiss watchmakers called upon the explorer spirit of the Overseas collection.

Finally, the third in the Ramadan collection is dedicated to making time for family and using it to keep alive those family and cultural traditions that are passed on from generation to generation.  The notion is that while time rushes past us, time spent with family is the most precious of it all, just as gold is the most precious metal. With this design, tradition is passed down in the Patrimony Blue Dial Retrograde Day-Date model and Traditionnelle Moon Phase timepiece.
