Every summer, Monte-Carlo Beach produces a restaurant that seems to capture the mood of the season. For 2026, that address is La Vigie Zanoni Monte-Carlo, an Italian dining destination hidden among pine trees and lemon groves at the tip of the Monte-Carlo Beach peninsula.
The restaurant opened on June 12 in collaboration with Simone Zanoni, the Italian chef behind Michelin-starred Le George at Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris. Set on Pointe La Vigie, with uninterrupted views across the Mediterranean, it can be reached along a path through the pine forest or by boat via its private jetty. For those spending the day on the water, it makes a particularly appealing stop between Monaco and the wider Riviera.

Zanoni’s menu reflects the setting, favouring fresh, generous Italian cooking built around seasonal produce. Seafood, crudos, handmade pasta, grilled meats and sun-ripened vegetables are designed to be ordered for the table and shared over a long lunch. Signatures include Tortellini Carbonara, braised veal agnolotti and Milanese-style veal cutlet. Desserts continue the Italian theme with tiramisu and pistachio semifreddo served with citrus sorbet.

The atmosphere is relaxed. Lunches can easily stretch into laidback afternoons, while dinner is accompanied by live music. Lemons, natural materials and decorative bee motifs add warmth to the open-air setting without competing with the sea beyond.

La Vigie Zanoni is open daily for lunch and dinner until September 13, 2026. Guests can also travel from Port Hercule aboard the Monte-Carlo Beach maritime shuttle, reaching the restaurant in approximately 15 minutes. For anyone planning a summer journey through Europe, it is an address worth adding to the itinerary.
