Newly renovated five star hotel, The Landmark, in Marlyebone, has some serious credentials – opened in 1899 it’s one of the last grand Victorian railways hotels and after an extensive renovation now features an incredible winter garden.
This autumn, pop into the hotel for a sumptuous afternoon tea under the eight storey glass atrium roof, with scones, sandwiches and tiny cakes masquerading as works of art (they even do a gluten free version).
You can even work off your afternoon tea with a guided tour afterwards which takes the hidden delights of this central neighbourhood – at one point three of The Beatles lived here, as did Jimi Hendricks.
