Smokey eye gets a sunny update with a number of celebrities rocking the orange eyeshadow on the red carpet.
Surprisingly versatile, shades of tangerine work for majority of hair colours and skin shades making it our new go-to for daytime and evening. The most popular way to apply it has been something close to mimicking the sunset where the tone gradually go from light to dark – very similar to who you do a classic smokey eye.
Start with a lighter tones as a base and then blend a slightly darker colour round the outer corner of the eye moving the brush back and forth just under the eye socket bone. Take a darkest hue from the palette (a dark red can also work) and tap it right into the corner and continue to blend. Finally add a few coats of blackest mascara and dab touch soft pink gloss to the lips.
If you’re not too keen on the zesty colour, try going for something with a touch of bronze or go for deeper rouge shades. Click through the gallery above for extra inspiration from the style stars.
