Following Tory Burch’s new boutique opening at Lagoona Mall in Doha, Qatar, at the end of last year, she partnered with Anna Dello Russo, editor-at-large and creative consultant for Vogue Japan for the boutique launch. Dello Russo shared entertaining and styling tips with the guests, including style blogger Ascia, Tamara Al Gabbani, Desert Mannequin, and Noory as they took a tour of the new space whilst discovering the holiday collection.
This season, for spring/summer 2016 Anna Dello Russo has joined forces yet again with Tory Burch to create a stylish SS16 video which highlights their new chic, trendy and striking collection. Inspired by nature, beauty and a sense of wanderlust; there are colourful, bold Moorish prints, Arabian inspired designs and boho-glamorous styles to choose from.
Tory Burch spoke of her new line being about beauty found in unexpected places. She said: “For spring/summer 2016, we were inspired by how beauty is enhanced through time and nature. There is an emphasis on contrast: natural fabrics paired with iridescence; neutrals with brights; simple shapes with texture and intricate embroideries. Accessories include oxidised jewellery, handbags with opalescent edging and shoes with a sculptural gold heel, originally inspired by a slice of natural bark.”
