Bold Black Accents
Dark, high-shine black nails are huge in 2017. Vera Wang showcased a vertical strip on nails of models at her Spring/Summer 2017 show. You can either curve it around the cuticle or paint a dark line on the tips with neutral tones. Or if you want something even more standout, paint a black strip alongside vibrant pops of colour.
New Neutrals
Ladylike natural shades showed off classic and clean nails. Cushnie Et Ochs Spring/Summer 2017 saw pearlescent hues and neutrals painted over pretty oval-shaped nails. This also looked good as a base for subtle graphic lines of similar hues.
Block Colours
Get inspired by Opening Ceremony Spring/Summer 2017. It’s not only about mixing and matching vibrant colours with your outfits this coming season, it is about doing the same with your nails too. Add geometric patterns, dots, stripes and clashing shades to you talons.
Shimmering Lines
Make sure you highlight cuticles with gilded outer edges. This was shown at Rodarte Spring/Summer 2017. Play with sorbet shades or neural tones and blend with embellished shimmer.
