Cult brand Byredo have been celebrating their first pop-up in the Middle East and you only have three more days to check it out.
Located in the Bloomingdale’s Atrium at the Dubai Mall, the brand are showcasing their expansion into lifestyle by launching their FW18 leather goods collection for the first time in the region, exclusively at the pop-up.
Launched in 2006 in Stockholm, founder Ben Gorham has continued to translate memories and emotions into products and experiences that have won Byredo a global following and further opened up a cult space in the luxury fragrance market. Now they also have home, leather goods and accessories. Gorham said in a statement:
“Through Byredo I want to communicate my own personal experiences – to contribute to an almost collective memory of time and place.”
The leather goods collection is a contemporary take on traditional craftsmanship. The meticulous care given to the choice of the various leather skins is pushed further with the addition of new materials and bright colours. Byredo works with France and Italy’s best artisans in both selection and tanning process as well as manufacturing.
The idea of contemporary luxury reaches a new level with the use of spazzolato, a smooth and rich veal skin that counts amongst the highest quality leathers. Precious exotic skins complete the collection with a more expressive and rare attitude.
The Byredo pop runs until October 10.
