Dubai Fashion Week continued its Spring/Summer 2027 edition, bringing together international designers across resort wear, contemporary fashion and couture, with collections exploring femininity, craftsmanship and individual expression.

Gigi Boutique opened up its curated approach to contemporary style with an intimate, see-now-buy-now presentation at the Gigi Lounge. Featuring ready-to-shop pieces from international designers, the showcase spanned resort wear, contemporary dressing and statement accessories, combining fashion with the hospitality associated with Gigi Rigolatto.

Ukrainian label KEL’ explored transformation and self-expression through its Spring/Summer 2027 collection, *Genesis*. Designed by Olena Kondratova, the collection drew on the symbolism of the butterfly, translating the theme into sculptural corsetry, architectural tailoring and intricate embellishment. Delicate lace, sheer tulle and velvet were complemented by three-dimensional hand-stitched appliqués, hand-embroidered crystals, sculptural hair accessories and statement body jewellery.

Vietnamese label L’SCARLETT offered a different interpretation of modern femininity with *AUREA*. Founded by Le Nguyen, the brand presented sculpted silhouettes, fluid skirts and architectural volumes, accented with gold-toned crystals, intricate hand embellishment and three-dimensional floral details inspired by the lily. The collection explored the interplay of light, strength and understated opulence.

Romanticism took centre stage at GNL Couture, whose Spring/Summer 2027 collection, *Le Jardin Enchanté*, drew inspiration from the poetry of an enchanted garden. Botanical motifs appeared through intricate hand embroidery and delicate beadwork, while a palette of mint, blush pink, pistachio green and ivory complemented sculpted silhouettes and fluid draping. Cascading embellishments featured across eveningwear and bridal creations, highlighting the craftsmanship of couture.
Meanwhile, designer sisters Nafsika and Stephanie Skourti presented their Resort 2027 collection, combining bold colour combinations, unexpected textures and playful details. Balancing softness with structure, the collection juxtaposed florals with metallic accents, reflecting the label’s focus on individuality, sisterhood and contemporary dressing.
Dubai Fashion Week continues until the 26th of October, with the programme bringing together designers, industry professionals and international media. Further shows and presentations include Laura Aparicio, Adriana Capasso, ODA Store and Mónica Schuster.
