The Italian Winter Sports team are set to be the most stylish on the slopes this season, with their kit designed by EA7 Emporio Armani.
The sleek, chic design is the second year in a row that the house has created the kit for its native national team.
The new kit was presented in Italy’s fashion capital of Milan for the 2023/24 season of the Italian Winter Sports Federation.
As the FISI Official Technical Outfitter, Armani will provide athletes with technical garments for competitions, as well as leisure products and accessories to be worn for all events up to the Milan/Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.
The new EA7 Emporio Armani suits, unveiled yesterday, are made of technical fabric in the distinctive ‘Armani’ blue colour with shades leaning towards the colours of snow and ice and have been fine-tuned with the most advanced technologies to ensure optimum performance.
The connection between Giorgio Armani and the world of winter sports began with collaborations with Italian and Swiss ski schools in 2012 and continued with the ‘Winter Tour’ event format which has offered mountain enthusiasts unique experiences and initiatives linked to sport and entertainment every season since 2012, visiting some of the most renowned mountain resorts.
EA7 was established in 2004 as the sporting and performance branch of Emporio Armani. The line blends research, innovation and style, and has developed a strong identity over the years. Today, it offers technical and leisure clothing aimed at sports enthusiasts and professionals. The logo references seven different sports: training, tennis, basketball, outdoor, water sports, mountain sports, and golf.
