Mr Porter has expanded its clothing offering with Norwegian menswear brand, Berg & Berg, and here’s what you need to know about the newcomer to the e-commerce site.

Following in the footsteps of sister site Net-A-Porter’s, e-commerce site Mr Porter set up virtual shop in 2010. Almost ten years on, it has not only become the go-to online retailer for men to shop clothes but is also a one-stop destination that equips gentlemen to curate a style that feeds into their lifestyle.
The formula to Mr Porter’s success? The mix of world-famous brands (Balenciaga, Calvin Klein, Gucci) with the site’s own label Mr P (which dropped in 2017) and more niche brands from different corners of the world that shoppers may never have come across otherwise all under one roof.
And keeping up their winning formula, Mr Porter has added another niche name to its impressive portfolio; Berg & Berg.
Born in Oslo, Norway in 2009, the family-run label (founded and funded by Karin and Mathias Berg) create classic Nordic designs that align with the modern global man. Think slim fit cotton blend suit jackets in soft navy, buttonless cotton polo shirts in steel blue and twill schoolboy-esque shorts in camel.
While creating a buzz in its homeland – and having worked closely with niche manufacturers across Italy and Scotland – Berg & Berg hasn’t travelled too far from home just yet.
But the addition of the Norwegian label to Mr Porter’s 450 plus labels which ship to 170 countries, that could be about to change. The initial drop, which is available to shop now, consists of an 18 piece capsule collection.
