Celine presented the CELINE Homme SS23 Runway collection in Paris yesterday evening at the Palais de Tokyo.

Titled “Dysfunctional Bauhaus” the collection by Hedi Slimane explores a slimline silhouette with touches of sparkle and glamour.

The presentation also celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Palais de Tokyo, Europe’s largest centre for contemporary creation and the place where Slimane first presented his 2022 menswear collection for Dior Homme twenty years ago. The designer wanted to pay tribute to the institution and remember this moment in his career and his journey of designing menswear.

As with all of his presentations Slimane created a 360 package around his show, collaborating with artists and musicians to bring his vision to life.

Live music was provided by the emerging New York-based band Gustaf. The band’s live set is constantly in flux, resulting in a sound that is emotive and infectiously danceable.
