The 69th Cannes Film Festival kicks off tonight until the 22nd May. It’s about to get under way, which means plenty of floor-length evening dresses and sparkling jewels that will hit the red carpet soon enough! So far, a flux of celebrities such as Bella Hadid, a pregnant Blake Lively, Vanessa Paradis, Eva Longoria and Amal Clooney were all seen arriving in the French seaside town.
Bella Hadid
Model Bella Hadid made a grand entrance at last week’s Met Gala in a custom Givenchy Haute Couture strapless gown. The 19-year-old switched up her typically demure look for an optic-white Dior dress with an asymmetrical neckline and a distinctive double hem. She wore it with a simple envelope clutch and stilettos.
Eva Longoria
The 41-year-old was sporting a fitted white top tucked into high-waist floral pants outside her hotel. She completed the ensemble with a long white coat and black bag, waving to fans as she made her way outside.
Vanessa Paradis
The Chanel muse looked chic in black cropped skinny jeans and a black blazer. The model turned actress, who is one of the jurors of the festival, topped the look with a white blouse complete with a black silk bow tie and black pumps.
Blake Lively
The wife of actor Ryan Reynolds arrived at the Nice airport in France wearing a slick Burberry trench. The 28-year-old mother of one matched the thin black trim on her trench with the tuxedo stripe of her trousers. The coordinating monochromatic style looked fresh and she wore strappy sandals that were ideal for glamorous lunches and press junkets.
Amal Clooney
The 38-year-old arrived at the five-star Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France wearing a stripped mini bubble skirt and high-neck ribbed ivory cardigan. She accessorised with large sunglasses and a piece of arm candy. Her stunning leather saddle bag by Altuzarra has a boho plaited strap and double tassel details. It paired beautifully with her loafers.
