The new season is almost upon us, which means it’s time to refresh our wardrobes and our footwear. These are five trends to step out in, this Fall/Winter.

The black court shoe is back

Amongst the current 2000s trend revivals is the classic black court shoe, seen across the runways of the FW23. This is a good one to add to your wardrobe due to its versatility – moving easily from office to eveningwear. This trend is likely to be around for a while so invest in a classic style that you love.

Winter wedges

One of the best things about living in a warmer climate is being able to take advantage of some of the more daring winter trends. Meet the winter wedge – this one was on the runway for SS23 and has made a return for the winter season too.

Androgenous buckle boots

Roberto Cavalli FW23

Bold boot wear has been a winter trend for the past few years, this season’s take on the look saw a mix of buckle and lace-up boots take to the runway.

Slouchy boots return

Isabel Marant FW23

In another nod to the noughties, the slouchy boot made a return to the runway. Styles varied, but most were thigh-high leather and vegan leather iterations of the trend.

Beautiful bows

Loewe FW23

Bow embellishments from the inconspicuous to the grand were seen across different footwear collections for FW23. The fun, playful look is a great way to dress up any look, from daywear to eveningwear or for a day in the office.
