There is a “Workshop of Wonders,” experience available to discerning shoppers visiting the city over the festive period that will run until the 2nd of January 2025. This tale unfolds across window displays showcasing rich landscapes, captivating storytelling, and intricate artisanal craftsmanship.
The display features scenes inspired by the locales where Loro Piana sources its materials, from the Mongolian plains, where baby goats produce cashmere, to New Zealand pastures, home to the renowned Merino sheep. The attention to detail is unparalleled; in the main display window, a rotating globe crowns a miniature of the Quarona factory in Italy, and Harrods’ Green Man is pictured floating on clouds, symbolizing the enduring partnership between Harrods and Loro Piana.
Harrods visitors can explore two dedicated Loro Piana pop-up spaces brimming with exclusive offerings. At Door 6, the pop-up focuses on craftsmanship, with intricate displays celebrating the brand’s artisans and inviting guests to browse through exquisite neckwear, cozy socks, and accessories crafted in signature cashmere. The Door 9 pop-up, styled as a “Cashmere Atelier for festive decorations,” allows guests to engage with Loro Piana’s world of luxurious fibers, including hands-on opportunities to create holiday ornaments and gifts.
New spaces within Harrods elevate the experience further: the Loro Piana Interiors store offers an array of the brand’s coveted home furnishings, and a new Kids boutique, resplendent in shades of orange and neutral tones, presents a range of premium winter wear for children, from parkas to cashmere dresses.
