Michael Kors will be arriving in Dubai this December, to present the brand’s first-ever show outside of New York City.
The house’s Spring/Summer 2024 Collection is set to be shown on 12th December in the city.
The exclusive presentation will be shown to about 250 guests including top clients, international press, celebrities and influencers. The show will also be live-streamed on the brand’s digital channels, including social media.
The Dubai runway show will feature looks which debuted last month at Domino Park in Brooklyn, New York, as well as additional pieces designed exclusively for the EMEA region.
The Spring/Summer 2024 collection channels barefoot glamour and the romance of escaping to blue skies, balmy weather and sunny days. Silhouettes are short and leggy or soft and floor-sweeping, including fluid goddess dresses, side-slashed skirts and breezy caftans.
A palette of makeup tints is by balanced sorbet shades of melon, freesia and geranium, while bold florals and graphic giraffe prints lend a postmodern edge. Flat shoes add to the air of effortlessness, underscored by an artisanal handwoven bucket bag that nods to the legendary style of Jane Birkin.
