For the Fall 2019 Oscar De La Renta bridal collection, the brand introduce demi-couture gowns which will allow for future brides to have a design input in the final result.

The design duo Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim feel that there has been a distance between fashion and the wearer and want to bridge that gap by allowing their clients to contribute to the final look of their wedding dress – after all it is one of the most important occasions.

The designers were in Dubai recently connecting with their clients here and presenting the latest pieces featuring strapless ball gowns with scattered embroideries, dresses with gestural details like a soft bow in the back or a wrap-effect sweetheart bodice, and an ivory gown in cut-out lace fern detailing that has proven to be a favourite. For the Middle East, there were plenty of modest options with full lace sleeves and high necklines.

The youthful touches were seen in the mini one shoulder dress with a long train flowing from the hip, while feathered embellishment added a decadent touch to an otherwise minimal gown.
