The final week of shows is upon us and it’s going to be a busy one. A number of new designers have been added to the schedule along with Paris favourites like Louis Vuitton and Valentino. Stay up to date with our guide to all things Paris Fashion Week FW18.
The biggest name missing from the diary is Celine. Following the departure of Phoebe Philo, we won’t see Hedi Slimane’s creations until September but there will be a presentation of select pieces designed by the handover team. Anthony Vaccarello, the creative director of Saint Laurent for almost two years, has moved his show to Tuesday evening and if last season’s setting underneath the Eiffel Tower has anything to go by, it will be another headline worthy spectacle.
There’s never been a bigger spotlight on emerging designers with Marine Serre and Koche guaranteed to bring in a large fashion crowd. Eyes will also be on Clare Waight Keller at Givenchy, Olivier Lapidus at Lanvin and Natacha Ramsay-Levi at Chloe who are set to present their second collections.
With Chanel recently announcing their contribution to restoration of the iconic Grand Palais, we expect another jaw dropping set up for the Fall collection.
