Located at the Intercontinental Le Grand, Rouba.G took part of Paris Fashion Week to exclusively debut her FW18 collection. Named “Dragon Dawn” the Lebanese designer welcomes a whimsical oceanic world embodied through effortless jewel tones blended with a mix of radiant pastel hued gowns, one-piece jumpers, and mini cocktail dresses.
The show opened with a teal ruffle sleeved dress with sheer panel details. Designs that stood out were a seafoam green gown with oversized sleeves, and a cocktail-dress intricately handcrafted with metallic leather triangular pieces mimicking the texture of a dragon scale.
The collection featured subtle bold tones of purples, pales pinks, and greens. Models cascaded around the runway in sheer airy gowns using tulle and chiffon fabrics, which set a free-spirited and feminine feel.
