Victoria Beckham’s FW18 collection of just 26 looks delivers a luxe every-day wardrobe.
Focusing on tailoring, Beckham showcased her latest pieces for the last time during the NYFW schedule before taking her designs to London in September. An intimate audience gathered at James Burden mansion on 91st Street including her family that added to the personal feel of the show.
Suits, oversized trench coats and anoraks, belted jackets and feminine dresses dominated with Beckham choosing the muted tones of khaki green and navy. There were a few bolder items like the leopard print coat and a leather midi dress, but the focus remained on the timeless pieces that have a flattering cut and would feel special to wear. The shoes were bulky and functional with some elegant kitten heel options while the bags were either supersized – the designer snapped herself sitting in one of them ahead of the show – or micro for the evening.
New York will surely miss Beckham from the schedule, and London is very lucky to have her.
