Tommy Hilfiger Opens New York Fashion Week With All-American Classics

Few things encapsulate the classic American fashion scene more than Tommy Hilfiger, and it was something the house certainly played to its advantage this New York Fashion Week.

For FW24 the house presented a collection called “A New York Minute” at one of the city’s most iconic landmarks –  The Oyster Bar at Grand Central Station.

With an A-List FROW that most brands can only dream of gathering, Tommy Hilfiger presented a collection that was all about all-American affordable Quiet Luxury.

The Ivy League vibe which makes up the core DNA of Tommy Hilfiger was very much present: think cable knit sweaters, felted wool blazers, sumptuous scarves and pleated skirts, all made relevant for 2024 with oversized cuts and relaxed tailoring.

The key accessory for the collection was arguably the classic all-American baseball cap, which appeared on seventeen of the looks presented.

In all, it felt like a homecoming for the brand – a return to its roots in the city that never sleeps.
