The 2019 edition of the Screen Actors Guild Awards saw a return of old Hollywood glamour on the red (or this time silver to mark the 25 anniversary) carpet.
Taking place in Los Angeles, the event celebrates nominees from TV and film and is normally looked to for who might be this year’s Oscar champions. So far Rami Malek is on winning streak as he picks up the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role for Bohemian Rhapsody. Glenn Close is another one to watch as she walked away with a trophy for her lead role in The Wife.
As for the best dressed winners, Lady Gaga has once again wowed us with her elegant white Dior couture gown, while Emma Stone broke the dress code by turning up in top and trousers from Louis Vuitton. Yara Shahidi did one better by wearing two striking outfits in one by Fendi, meanwhile Alison Brie showed her support for one of our favourite emerging trends from SS19 season of Haute Couture – maxi bows.
