The Outnet has collaborated with Arab Hijabi ballerina, Engy El Shazly for the launch of The Shoe Movement which sees her showing some of her moves in a pair of Dolce & Gabbana sandals.

Luxury online retailer wanted to celebrate their vast designer collection of footwear with a series of videos featuring each designer with a selected dance genre; Cha Cha in Chloé, Jive in Jimmy Choo, Disco in Dolce & Gabbana, Lambarda in Lanvin, Vogue in Valentino and Charleston in Charlotte Olympia. Andres Sosa, EVP of Sales, Marketing and Creative, said:

“We are renowned for offering the best in luxury retail, so why not celebrate this by showcasing the amazing designers at The Outnet with dance.”

Engy El Shazly is the first Arab Hijabi ballerina in the region who broke boundaries of age by starting her ballet career at 27. She is currently training to become a certified ballet teacher and works as an assistant teacher to the First Dancer of Cairo Opera House. She also has big hopes for international recognition and to one day perform at the Opera house in Paris.
