ZEGNA will present its Summer 2028 fashion show in Beijing on the 11th of June 2027, followed by the opening of VILLA ZEGNA, the Italian luxury menswear house’s invitation-only private club, on the 12tj of June.

The temporary space will remain in the Chinese capital for several days, offering clients, friends of the brand and international press an opportunity to experience the house beyond the runway.
The announcement marks the latest chapter in ZEGNA’s international fashion show programme, following presentations in Dubai in 2025 and Los Angeles in 2026. Developed in alignment with Italy’s Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, the initiative aims to extend the reach of Made in Italy while maintaining the brand’s longstanding connection to Milan.
Beijing holds particular significance in ZEGNA’s history. In 1991, the company became the first luxury menswear brand to establish a direct retail presence in mainland China, opening its first store in the city. Nearly two decades later, Shanghai joined Milan as a location for celebrations marking the brand’s centenary in 2010. ZEGNA returned to Beijing the following year for a special show commemorating 20 years in China.
More than three decades after its initial arrival, China remains one of the brand’s most important markets and cultural relationships. The upcoming presentation will build on this history, bringing together ZEGNA’s Italian heritage and a contemporary perspective shaped by Beijing’s own identity.
The choice of city reflects a wider vision for the house’s travelling presentations, with each destination offering a distinct cultural context. Beijing’s combination of historical heritage and contemporary creativity provides the setting for a programme intended to celebrate the relationship between Italy and China while introducing a new chapter in the brand’s story.
Opening the day after the fashion show, VILLA ZEGNA Beijing will develop this concept through an experience conceived specifically for the city. Building on the intimacy and personal connections that define the private club format, the temporary space will explore the intersection of ZEGNA’s Italian roots, its pioneering presence in China and the capital’s contemporary cultural landscape.
Inspired by Oasi Zegna, the brand’s home in the Italian Alps, VILLA ZEGNA is designed to offer a temporary home away from home in each destination, translating the house’s values and distinctive identity into a setting informed by its surroundings.
Further details of the Beijing fashion show and VILLA ZEGNA programme will be announced in due course.
