Fashion Forward Dubai (FFWD) is opening its doors for a 9th season this Thursday March 23rd at Hai d3 at Dubai Design District.
FFWD is a fashion industry focused event, but the public are also able to attend by purchasing daily or 3-day Access Passes.
The schedule comprises of a series of catwalk shows and presentations designed to showcase the region’s design talent. This season, highlights include Arwa al Banawi, Hussein Bazaza, Hessa Felasi, Kristina Fidelskaya, Bedouin and Lama Jouni.
In addition to the designers showing apparel, there is also The Showcase – a carefully curated space for a selection of the best regional jewellery and accessory designers. Brands showing this season include; Azra, Belquis, BIJA Jewels, Joudesign, Madiso, Rosa Maria Jewellery and Vinita Michael.
There will also be industry talks taking place over the weekend. They will tackle relevant issues and aim to give established and new businesses and individuals advice on how they can best face the challenges the fashion industry presents. Talks will cover a wide variety of topics, including how to kick-start your fashion career, how to jump into the online marketplace and whether the new see-now-buy-now model some brands have adopted can work long-term.
Between the Shows and Talks, attendees can network at social events, enjoy food, beverages and entertainment at The Fashion Village and end each day by dancing the night away at the FFWD Official After-Parties.

Valet and parking is available at the venue. Due to heavy traffic at Fashion Forward it is encouraged to arrive 30 minutes prior to shows and talks.
