From Monte-Carlo to Sicily, these are the best fashion takeovers across Europe this summer.

Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo x Pucci

This summer, Maison Pucci is taking over Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo, with the brand’s iconic patterns bringing a pop of colour to the spa of Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo and Hotel Hermitage Monte-Carlo. In a beautiful and harmonious combination of Monegasque heritage and the psychedelic world of Emilio Pucci, Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo have been dressed in Pucci’s famous collection, Very Vivara, to celebrate Monaco’s Mediterranean Summer.

With a range of silk cushions, ottomans, swim noodles, wall coverings and decorative objects, colour is everywhere. Pucci’s new Vivara Collection, inspired by the Vivara print from 1965, has been designed by Camille Miceli, Pucci’s artistic director, and is now available at the spa’s boutique. To further enhance this sense of immersion, the spa’s bar of Thermes Marins, L’Atlantide, is serving a Pucci-inspired cocktail – Vivara – inspired by the cheerful and colourful spirit of the House of Pucci.

An Alberta Ferretti Affair at Hotel de Mar

Alberta Ferretti and Gran Meliá Hotels & Resorts collaborate to personalize the new cult destination for the summer season in Mallorca: The Bombon Pool Club at Hotel De Mar, a Leading Hotels of the world and a long-standing favourite of the Mallorcan high society, royalty, and international jet set. Bombon Pool Club by Alberta Ferretti is a love letter to all Mediterranean summer lovers, born from a serendipitous meeting between fashion designer Alberta Ferretti and Gabriel Escarrer, CEO of Meliá Hotels International.

Playful sophisticated luxury lies at the heart of this creative partnership, seamlessly blending Italian craftsmanship with the magnetic charm of the Balearic Islands. The name “Bombón” honours “El Chocolate,” the affectionate nickname given to Hotel de Mar by locals, inviting guests to indulge in a unique experience of relaxation and refinement by the pool, at the restaurant, or on the hotel’s exclusive private beach. Alberta Ferretti has united with Gran Meliá in the creation of Mallorca’s first fashion-driven Pool Club at Hotel de Mar, ushering in a new era. For the occasion, Alberta Ferretti’s iconic tie-dye prints adorn the pool area in blue shades, while the beach and pool bar feature designs in beige tones.

Dolce&Gabbana Returns to San Domenico Palace, Taormina, A Four Seasons Hotel

For summer 2024, the unmistakable signature of Dolce&Gabbana returns to the San Domenico Palace, Taormina, A Four Seasons Hotel, with the exclusive DG Resort summer take-over and the new pop-up boutique in the heart of the former monastery, today’s iconic address of high hospitality by Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts in Sicily.

Located on the west coast of Sicily, suspended between the rocks and the sea, Taormina impresses with its breathtaking landscapes, marine beauty, and historical monuments, which since the eighteenth century have made it an important destination for the Grand Tour of the most illustrious travellers. An unmissable stop on this journey was the San Domenico Palace Hotel – with its history beginning in 1896 – which soon became an essential address for royalty, writers, artists, and Hollywood stars. This place has always been the guardian of the wonder of Taormina and today, thanks to the Four Seasons brand, also an international symbol of Sicilian hospitality in the world.

One&Only Aesthesis Collaborates With Balmain for Pool Club Takeover

One&Only Aesthesis, now welcoming guests for its inaugural summer season, unveils a special collaboration between Balmain and One&Only – transporting a touch of ‘New French Style’ to the Athenian Riviera – including a summer pool club take-over and a special edition of the 1945 Cabas designed exclusively for One&Only guests.

The One&Only Aesthesis pool has been transformed to channel the artistic energy and signature prints of the iconic Balmain house. Inspired by the intricate pathways of French Renaissance gardens, Balmain’s Labyrinth pattern of interlocking “B” and “P” motifs adorn the Aesthesis poolside space in unique customisations created especially for the collaboration.

Throughout the summer, all parasols, pool towels, sunlounger cushions, floating loungers, and cabanas surrounding the pool will be embellished with the instantly recognisable graphic iconography of Balmain, complementing the palette of One&Only Aesthesis and its thoughtfully curated surrounding, reminiscent of the mid-century modern architecture of Glyfada’s 1960 heyday.
