German luxury luggage brand RIMOWA has unveiled the Holiday Case, a limited-edition release inspired by an archival design from 1988.
Originally known as “der Reisekoffer für junge Leute” or “the travel case for young people,” the design marked RIMOWA’s early foray into bold, neon aesthetics emblematic of the 1980s.
The Holiday Case revisits this milestone with a contemporary interpretation, blending vintage appeal with modern features. Comparable in size to a Cabin suitcase, the case is made from lightweight polycarbonate and includes the durable lock and frame system from RIMOWA’s Original collection. It also features an adjustable shoulder strap for added portability.
The interior echoes the vivid exterior with colour-matched linings, white mesh dividers, and straps, offering a playful yet functional design. The case is backed by RIMOWA’s lifetime guarantee.
Available in Blue, Yellow, and Red, the RIMOWA Holiday Case was released globally today and through select RIMOWA stores and online at RIMOWA.com.
