Elie Saab and H&M have revealed a special bridal gown and veil as part of their upcoming collaboration, bringing the Lebanese designer’s signature approach to bridalwear to the high-street retailer for a limited release.
Designed by Elie Saab, the gown is cut in a mermaid silhouette and features layers of fabric and a long, dramatic train. Its off-the-shoulder neckline twists across the top of the dress, balancing a sensual shape with a more traditional bridal aesthetic.
The construction of the gown is equally detailed. It is corseted and finished at the back with a delicate mesh panel embroidered with glass beads and sequins, introducing an element of sparkle and transparency to the otherwise structured design.
The gown can be paired with a floor-length bridal veil, crafted from mesh and decorated with hand-embroidered floral motifs. Tone-on-tone beads and sequins are worked across the veil, extending the embellished detailing of the dress.
The bridal look forms part of the wider ELIE SAAB H&M collection, which is positioned around the house’s approach to craftsmanship, longevity and what the two maisons describe as its “signature preciousness”.
For Elie Saab, bridalwear has a particular significance. “Bridal is where everything began, the moment where the language of ELIE SAAB found its voice,” said Saab, Chairman and Chief Creative Officer. He added that offering a bridal piece through the collaboration at a different price point would allow a wider audience of future brides to experience the house’s aesthetic.
Ann-Sofie Johansson of H&M said the company was “honoured” to include a bridal look in the collaboration, adding that the final garment was “stunning”.
The ELIE SAAB H&M collection will launch from 22nd of October 2026. The highly limited bridal gown and veil will be available online and in selected global stores in Dubai, Paris and New York.
